Zaps comes in four tier subscriptions:

  • Free — Automate basic workflows with 100 tasks per month.
  • Professional — Good for individuals with unlimited apps, multi-step Zaps and email support: $19.99 per month. 
  • Team — Good for teams with unlimited users, single sign-on (SSO) add-on and premier account support: $69.99 per month. 
  • Enterprise — Contact for quote. 

Zapier pricing — Interfaces

Zapier’s Interfaces product comes in three tiers:

  • Basic — Included in all Zapier plans at no extra cost: project limit of two interfaces and 5MB uploads.
  • Premium — Project limit of five interfaces, 10MB uploads and personalized branding: $20 per month. 
  • Advanced — Project limit of 20 interfaces and 25MB uploads: $100 per month.

Zapier pricing — Tables

Tables also comes in three tiers:

  • Basic — Included in all Zapier plans at no extra cost: five tables, 100 fields per table, 2,500 records per table.
  • Premium — 20 tables, 200 fields per table and 100,000 records per table: $20 per month. 
  • Advanced — 50 tables, 200 fields per table and 500,000 records per table: $100 per month.

Zapier pricing — Chatbots

Zapier pricing for Chatbots has the same three tiers:

  • Basic — Included in all Zapier plans at no extra cost: two chatbots and access to seven-day conversation history. 
  • Premium — Five chatbots and 14-day conversation history: $20 per month.
  • Advanced — 20 chatbots and 30-day conversation history: $100 per month.

Customers can save 33% for subscriptions billed annually. New customers can also access a 14-day free trial.

Additional Zapier costs to consider

Every Zapier subscription comes with basic access to the other three Zapier products, but customers can add any Premium plan from other products for an additional $20 per month.

Other vendors offering workflow automation solutions

Zapier is a leading solution in workflow automation, but it’s not the only platform in this area.   • Core — For individuals automating simple workflows: $10.59 per month, or $9 per month when billed annually. 
  • Pro — For individuals requiring sophisticated automating tools: $18.82 per month, or $16 per month when billed annually. 
  • Teams — For departments using automation for multiple users: $34.12 per month or $29 per month when billed annually.

Make doesn’t currently offer a free trial. 

Zapier pricing vs Microsoft Power Automate

Formerly known as Microsoft Flow, Microsoft Power Automate is a cloud automation platform optimizing workflows and business processes. Initially designed to integrate just with Microsoft apps, the platform now connects with thousands of programs. 

Microsoft Power Automate pricing has two tiers:

  • Premium — $15.63 per person, per month (before VAT). 
  • Process — License a bot to be used by unattended desktop or cloud flows and accessed by unlimited users: $156.64 per bot, per month (before VAT).

New customers can access a 30-day free trial.

Zapier pricing vs IFTTT

Standing for If This Then That, IFTTT allows users to customize and control integrations with filter codes, queries and multiple actions. Designed for both commercial and private use, IFTTT is favored by smaller businesses and smart home owners. 

IFTTT pricing is available in three tiers:

  • Free — For simple automation.
  • Pro — For smart home integrations and increased productivity: $2.92 per month. 
  • Pro+ — For limitless automations for small businesses: $12.50 per month.

IFTTT offers a seven-day free trial for new customers.

Zapier pricing — the Vertice verdict

It’s pleasing to see pricing so transparent — as is the case with all the platforms discussed here — particularly when it’s broken down specifically by product. Users can benefit from basic features of all Zapier products without spending an extra buck.

Make and IFTTT may well be preferred by smaller organizations. This is particularly true for IFTTT, which lists small businesses and smart home owners as its primary target markets.
